    Owners of property served by City water are responsible for all leaks and damage caused from the service pipes leading from the customer's side of the meter to the premises served.

    Roll-Off Rental Request


     

    If you would like to request a roll-off dumpster, please complete and submit the form below. Once submitted, Public Works staff will contact you to make final arrangements for your rental, including bin size, delivery date, and placement.

    Guidelines for renting

    • Residential roll-off services are provided to residents who have an active city services account
    • The billable account must be current with no past due amount
    • The bin can be requested for up to 10 days, there is an additional fee if the roll-off is needed longer than 10 days
    • Requestor shall sign liability release and a service contract form before the roll-off will be delivered.
    • No hazardous waste
     

    Rental price

    Each roll-off is priced as follows:

    Price per pull -

    $165 (what we charge to pick up and empty dumpster)

    Price per ton - $44 (what container weighs at pick-up)

    • 10 yard (13'x8'x4')
    • 20 yard (23'x8'x5')
    • 30 yard (23'x8'x6')
    • 40 yard (23'x8'x8')

    *The size of the bin will be decided when a customer service specialist contacts the customer after a request is submitted.

    Holiday collection

    Same-day service has simplified holiday trash and recycling collection.  Residents only have to remember changes on three holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.   View how collection is impacted during these three holidays.  If you have a question regarding holiday collection, email us or contact PHX Customer Services at 602-262-6251.

    Solid Waste Fees and Billing

    The monthly residential solid waste service fee is on your monthly city services bill. It includes weekly trash and recycling collection and disposal, container repair and replacement, dead-animal pickup, and enforcement. The fee also includes other environmental programs. The solid waste fee begins when your water service is started. It ends when water service is discontinued.     Proper Container Placement

    reminder - containers must be placed at curbside by 5:30 a.m.

    • Containers must not interfere with pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
    • Bag and securely tie any trash that goes into the trash container.
